Yes, you can change and/or cancel your order.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal and C.O.D. We cannot split payments between credit cards. Please note orders are subject to review.
Will my credit card be charged immediately?
Yes. Credit cards are charged once the order is processed at Check Out.
What currency is the site in?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. If you are ordering with a US credit card, the charges to your credit card will reflect the current exchange rate from USD to CAD. Additionally, your bank may charge you an additional international transaction fee for these orders. For more information, please check with the bank that issued your credit card.
What are your shipping fees?
Shipping is free on all orders within Canada and the U.S. for orders over $100.00. There is a shipping fee on orders below $100. Expedited Shipping: Additional charges apply and will be calculated at checkout. Expedited shipping delivery charge is dependent on destination. Please note that duties, taxes and/or customs are not covered by Uniikii.

What about taxes and duties?
Uniikii is not responsible for duties, taxes and/or custom charges. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If an order is placed on www.uniikii.com and then refused, you will be responsible for any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that were incurred in shipping the package.
How do I track my order?
Your order will be shipped from Toronto by Canada Post in Canada or from Canada Post to the US Postal Service to addresses in the continental USA. We cannot guarantee expedited or overnight deliveries. Track your order on the Canada Post website. Click here.
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be processed and shipped within two business days of your order being submitted.
How do I know that my order has been shipped?
You will receive an email notification from our system when you order has been shipped.
Where's my order?
Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status at any time using the track your order page and the order reference number on your order confirmation email and your email address. Please track your order on the Canada Post Website, using your order reference number.
What is your return policy?
We at UNIIKII want to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your online shopping experience. As such, in the event that your purchase is not ‘just right’ we are happy to accept regular price merchandise (when in original condition, hangtags must be attached to the item(s), proof of payment must accompany the item(s) and item(s) remains in it's original packaging) for exchange or refund within 30 days. Returned items will be credited to the original method of payment, excluding shipping charges.
For exchanges from Canada/U.S. we are happy to cover your return postage for your first exchanged item. For U.S. orders Uniikii will not be responsible for duties, taxes and/or custom charges.
Uniikii is not responsible for any lost, damaged orstolen items once they are returned back to us.

How long will it take to process my return?

When will my purchase be refunded?
Once your package has been received, your refund will be issued in the original form of payment within seven business days. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place. Please note that banking institutions may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us. The credit may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing cycle.
Can I get a gift receipt online?
A gift receipt is not available for recipients. However a receipt will be sent to you via email. Please keep this handy in case a return is required.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Is ordering over the internet secure?
Internet technology used on the Uniikii web site scrambles sensitive information, such as your credit card number, so that it can be read only by our staff and your credit card issuer. This ensures that your payment information cannot be read by anyone else or changed along the way. There are several ways to determine if you have that protection when you are sending payment information on the web.
- Look for the picture of the unbroken key or closed lock in your browser window. Either one indicates that the security is operative. A broken key or any open lock indicates it is not.
- Look to see if the web address on the page that asks for your credit card information begins with "https:" instead of "http."
- Some web sites use the words "Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)" or a pop up box that says you are entering a secure area.
These security protections do not work in e-mail. So anything sent via email can be read by a third party.

What are the shoes and boots made of?
Felt footwear 100% wool felt and is a very natural and eco conscious product - pure wool materials ensure that the footwear does not contaminate the environment. Wool felt feels both soft and warm on the feet and yet very light and breathable. When made in the hands of professionals, a pair of felt footwear is a product that can be worn for many years. Lahtiset footwear is of the highest quality and is made of natural materials.
Are they waterproof?
The shoes and boots are water resistant but not waterproof. They are perfectly suitable for wearing in the snow. Direct water should be voided. If the felt boots loose their form due to becoming wet, it is recommended to reshape the boots by filling them with paper to reshape, and drying them at a low temperature (+40 C).
How do they fit?
European sizing is used, please review Uniikii's sizing chart. We recommend for 1/2 sizes to go to the next size up. Example: IF You are a CDN/US size 8.5, purchase a size 39. If you are a small CDN/US 8, purchase a 38. It is preferable to wear the boots loose, they should fit like a slipper. We recommend adding an insole of your choice as needed for arch support. Insoles that come with the boot can be removed.
Where are they made?
They are hand-made in the same tradition used since 1921 by a company, called Lahtiset located in Finland. One of the only companies left in the world that still works with a process called "wet felting" which enables them to create their beautiful footwear and bags. Made with artisan hands, each pair of shoes and boots takes a process of eight days to create.
Are they warm?
The shoes and boots are very warm. Wool being a natural fibre allows your feet to breathe so they stay comfortable in cool and cold temperatures. We've been known to wear ours boots through the winter months in our bare feet!
How do I take of care of my shoes and boots?
Felt shoes and boots do not require much caretaking. The surface can be easily cleaned by brushing and a damp cloth. Direct water should be avoided.
Salt stains can easily be removed with a damp cloth and if required a small amount of mild soap. We do not recommend spraying the wool with any protector but we do recommend spraying a fabric protector on the shoes and boots with banding -- protector should only be used on the band.
If the felt boots lose their form due to becoming wet, it is recommended to reshape the boots by filling them with paper to reshape, and drying them at a low temperature (+40 C). the preferable choice for storing the boots when not in use, is a dark location at room temperature or colder. Felt products also need to be protected from moths.
Where does your wood jewelry come from?
Our Aarikka jewelry comes from Finland. Aarikka is a Finnish family business established in 1954 to mastermind and manufacture design products. Each item in the Aarikka Jewelry collection is a unique item handmade in Finland. The Aarikka jewelry represents beauty and lasting quality and connects their promotion of eco-friendly raw materials such as wood. The Key Flag symbol indicates that the products are Finnish. Very many of the pieces are assembled either at home or at centres providing jobs for the disabled. Social employment creation has been part of Aarikka's mission since the 1970s.
How do I take care of my jewelry?
As wood is such a porous material, we recommend that you put on your Aarikka jewellery after you have applied any hairspray or perfume, and, for example, after skin-moisturiser has absorbed. Also, a wooden piece of jewellery cannot withstand prolonged contact with water (for example, being worn in the shower).
Who is Aki Choklat?
He is the creator of the Aki Choklat for Lahtiset line of footwear. Aki Choklat is an international design for professional and shoe designer. He not only runs his own footwear label, but also works as a trend and design consultant for numerous companies, and lectures at Polimoda in Florence, Italy.
